How can I restore Bitcoin Wallet on my phone with Android 9 Jan 2017

No specific Bitcoin Bounty has been announced by author. Still, anyone could send Bitcoin Tips to those who provide a good answer.

I am using a mobile Bitcoin Wallet app by Andreas Schildbach. Now I need to restore my wallet because I have lost my phone. I am lucky that I have made backup of my wallet earlier.

However I cannot figure out how to do a wallet restore. Please advice!

I have gone through this myself recently. Here is how to do it step by step:

Download you backup file to /Download dir
Click to menu and then to Safely

Click to Restore Wallet
Select your backup file, enter password and click to restore

That's all you have to do, good luck with your wallet restore!
